👩🍳 Our Family and Consumer Sciences students have been busy in the kitchen! 👨🍳
Students recently made elote, birria, homemade tortillas, and horchata from scratch while building their culinary skills and learning about different foods and preparation techniques.
They have also been exploring the food science behind different types of cookies before putting that knowledge to work in the kitchen.
These photos highlight their recent sopapilla laband the finished products looked, and tasted 😉, delicious!
Hands-on learning at its best! 💙❤️
