The next JH Scholastic Bowl meet will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Hoopeston at 4:00 PM. Mr. Lee will be driving the Activity Van which will leave from Homer ONLY at 2:45 PM. Good luck!

There is a sign-up sheet in the office for any 8th grader who may be interested in attending the Trade-Up Conference this year. This conference will be held on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at Parkland College. All students must be signed up by the end of the day TODAY, March 31, 2023 if you are interested.
A big THANK YOU goes out to everyone who came to and participated in making our Book Fair a huge success last night. It was an enjoyable evening for everyone who attended.
2022-2023 Elementary/JH Yearbook order forms are now available for anyone interested in ordering a Yearbook. You may order online here. You may also follow the same link to submit any Junior High/Elementary school event photos. Click on the "Yearbook Snap", type in access code "2022-2023", and follow the directions to upload. Reminders:
If you are unable to access your child’s TeacherEase account please contact the office for a paper copy.
NO vehicles are permitted in the circle drive where buses drop off in the morning or afternoon and you must stay in your car when dropping off in the drop off lane.
If sending in snacks or treats for a class, please remember no home-baked goods can be shared. All items must be pre-packaged and in store box containers.
If your student will be gone for a doctor’s appointment, please have him/her bring a note from the doctor upon returning to school to show that they were there. Otherwise the absence will be marked unexcused by the school.
Please remember that there is NO SMOKING/VAPING on school grounds, and that seat belts should be fastened properly around children as they are being picked up or dropped off on school property.
Please remember to discuss with your student as to whether or not he/she will be eating breakfast/lunch that is offered at the school this year. Menus are available as needed.
If you are needing to pick up or drop anything off to a student or staff member in the building, please make sure to call and make arrangements with office staff prior to doing so.
High School Announcements
JUNIORS: Your fundraiser cake rolls will be delivered to the TODAY, the 31st . Please be ready to take your items home with you before you leave.
Seniors: Local scholarships are due TODAY, March 31st except for the Bosch scholarships which are due by May 1st.
PROM! Juniors will start taking money on Monday, 4/3 for prom during lunch/advisory. Prices are as follows:
~ Juniors: $50 dollars per student, $50 for a date from another school or an underclassman.
~ Seniors:$30 dollars per student, $50 for a date from another school or an underclassman.
~ **Juniors with 8 or more points, price is $30.
Please have exact change or checks may be made payable to Heritage High School.
Juniors/Seniors: Dance request forms to bring a student from another school to prom are in the office. You must have the form completely filled out before turning it in. This includes the information of your date as well as the signature from the administrator at the other school. These forms need to be turned
in no later than Wednesday, April 19th .

The 2023 yearbook has just hit the market! Get your order form in the office today or you can order online here. Reminders:
Senior Pictures: A letter went out a few weeks ago calling for senior pictures. Please send a baby picture and a senior picture to Mrs. Campos for the yearbook and senior slideshow. If you have any other pictures of the class of 2023 from Kindergarten up to 12th grade for the slideshow please share or send to be scanned. Thank you!
Parents: Just a reminder that if your student will not be in school for the day, please be sure you are calling the office to let us know. Your student will be marked as unexcused absence for the day if we have not heard from you. Thank you.
Lunch Reminder: Lunches at the HS are now $2.60 per lunch. HS lunches must be paid via cash or check at the school office. You may just send it in with your student to drop it off. Please DO NOT enter payments for HS lunches via My SchoolBucks. Thank you!
