On Thursday, the Illinois State Board of Education gave Illinois K-12 schools
throughout the state the go-ahead to keep serving free meals to all students
throughout the 2021-22 school year. Heritage plans to do so through the USDA's Seamless Summer Option.
Heritage CUSD #8 was informed last Friday that our food provider, Kohl Wholesale, was dropping some 200 schools in Illinois. The district sought and will approve a new bid for food provider at the upcoming Heritage School Board meeting. During the transition to the new provider, we will have some menu changes. We thank everyone for their patience.
